Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Roamio ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service entered into with Skylake Labs Pte Ltd. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.

2. Educational Purpose Only

The App provides travel tracking and residency day counting for educational and informational purposes only. The App is NOT a substitute for professional legal, tax, or immigration advice.

3. No Warranty

TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. We do not warrant that:

• Calculations are accurate for your specific situation
• Day counts meet legal or regulatory standards
• Information is current or complete
• The App will be uninterrupted or error-free

4. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• Tax penalties or audits
• Visa denials or overstays
• Immigration violations
• Any damages arising from reliance on the App
• Loss of data or business interruption

Nothing in these Terms limits any statutory rights that cannot be waived in your jurisdiction.

5. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Verify all data entered into the App
• Independently confirm legal requirements
• Maintain backup records
• Use the App in compliance with all applicable laws
• Not rely solely on the App for compliance decisions

6. Data Accuracy

While we strive for accuracy, country-specific rules, thresholds, and regulations may change. You are responsible for:

• Verifying current regulations
• Confirming tax residency rules
• Checking visa requirements
• Validating day count calculations

7. Privacy & Data

Your travel data is stored locally on your device and encrypted. When automatic database updates or other optional sharing features are enabled, the App securely contacts Skylake Labs Pte Ltd services to retrieve the latest visa and tax rules or deliver the requested support. These requests send limited technical metadata (such as your IP address, device/OS version, and timestamp) needed to provide the service. You can turn automatic updates off in Settings → Visa Rules Database → Automatic Updates. Additional details are set out in our Privacy Policy.

8. Subscription & Payments

Premium subscriptions are billed through the App Store. Subscription terms:

• Auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends
• Charges occur within 24 hours prior to renewal
• Manage or cancel in your Apple ID subscription settings
• Statutory refund and cooling-off rights (including Apple's refund process) remain available where required by law

9. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of new terms.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend access to the App at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or us.

11. Intellectual Property

The App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Skylake Labs Pte Ltd and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without our written permission.

12. Prohibited Uses

You agree NOT to:

• Use the App for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer or decompile the App
• Remove or alter any copyright or proprietary notices
• Use the App to harm, harass, or violate the rights of others
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Skylake Labs Pte Ltd from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another party.

14. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall first be addressed through good faith negotiation within 30 days. If unresolved, disputes may be brought exclusively before the courts of Singapore. Nothing in this section limits any mandatory dispute resolution or consumer protection rights available in your country of residence.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, without regard to conflict of law provisions. If you are a consumer residing outside Singapore, you also benefit from any mandatory consumer protections available under the laws of your home jurisdiction.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms shall otherwise remain in full force and effect.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Skylake Labs Pte Ltd regarding the App and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
